Optional focus
Change
Find support alongside something new or lost, without requiring it to feel easy.
An everyday example
After a move, familiar people and everyday routes are missed. The new place offers possibilities, but learning so many things again is tiring.
The personal thought in this example
I should find this exciting, but I only want what is familiar.
A connected question
What is new or lost in this change, and which familiar source of support is still available?
From a question to a small attempt
What could be tried
What is missed can be written down without immediately finding a positive side. A small choice might be a familiar evening routine, a short walk or an arranged conversation with someone close. The choice fits what is possible now rather than becoming a complete adjustment plan.
What to check afterwards
Did the chosen support fit the present need? Sadness and curiosity can remain separate reports. A planned conversation or walk is not counted as completed.
An important boundary
Loss does not need a positive interpretation. There is no prescribed pace for accepting change; an exercise can end by acknowledging that things are difficult now.
