No silent subscription
The newsletter option on the access form stays unchecked until you choose it. Confirming one purpose does not confirm the other or create a user account.
Changing your mind is part of the service
The preferences link shows separate choices. Stop newsletters, withdraw your access request or stop both optional notices. No app sign-in is needed.
Content is available without an email
Read news on the website without signing up. Email is an optional way to receive updates; it does not unlock this page’s content.
